All the shoes have been sold. Red velvet curtains adorn the windows, gold embroidered table cloth, gold plates and center piece dress their table, a smoking jacket is worn by the shoemaker and a gold bow with crystal pendent dress Mrs. Cobbler's shawl. "But who could have helped us to this great fortune?"

The hand-dyed silk draped set consists of Little Red Cap & her mother's watercolor painted cottage on left with a silk curtain dividnig off the entrance to back-stage bedroom. The cottage contains table, two chairs, stove and wood/broom basket plus pot of bird-seed at the door. Then comes the woods. On the side near the grandmother's house is a well, at first covered in silk which is removed in a later scene, then comes Granny's cottage. The skirt of the stage is grey quilted cotton to look like stones.
Wolf is totally needle-felted wool with rocks as weights & strung using a simple cross-bar. The puppets can go between the forground and background bushes and the tall one on the right, covered at first, is a well.
Cottage furniture, is handmade from 1/4" plywood, watercolored and painted with design. Roof is covered with raindeer moss. There is a pot od bird seed at the door for the Turtle-dove, one chair in the cornor with a sewing/knitting basket, table & chair and bed plus silk curtain with entrance to backstage room.

The original story has two wolves that have to be overcome but this time they are ready and know just what to do without any outside help.
